Exceptionally clean with everything that you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated. A large patio with an incredible view over the Apuan Alps and Apennines. We received a very warm welcome from Alessandras parents who showed us around the property. A beautiful homemade cake was waiting for us in the lodge. The pool was wonderful with the same exceptional views. There is so much to do in this area. The fascinating medieval town of Pontremoli was within half an hours drive and the port of La Spezia and the towns of Massa and Carrara with their sandy beaches and famous marble quarries were also easily reached by car, as was the Cinque Terre. There were many restaurants nearby, including a lovely local authentic restaurant, just a minutes walk from the property. The best thing, though, about our short time at the lodge was the wonderful Alessandra and her lovely family who went out of their way to look after us and make us feel totally at home and part of their family. A truly unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back.

Vinomare Guesthouse está en Fosdinovo, a 15 km de Centro de Convenciones de Carrara y a 26 km de Castello San Giorgio. The host was super kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She arranged a special guided tour for us in English at the castle in Fosdinovo. They also recommended good places to visit in the area. It’s a guest house with a few rooms with private bathroom and shared kitchen and common area, but when we went we were the only ones there. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host laid out a very nice breakfast for us each morning. Location is accessible to Fosdinovo and other mountain villages, as well as Tellaro, Porto Venere, Cinque Terre, etc.
