As soon as we saw the view from our room (and from the whole property) we were magnetized by it and fully arrived on our relaxing holiday. The balcony was wonderful and so was the pool (perfect water temperature!) and the whole lush, botanical surroundings. The public spaces of the hotel were traditionally decorated and it was always quiet and very inviting. The hotel has an extremely homely feel to it, we felt completely relaxed at all times thanks to the ambience of the place. The host and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always good.

Breakfast is very very good (served to the private terrace) It was an amazing stay that I strongly recommend for couples!

From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a rental and more like staying at a beloved relative’s home — thanks entirely to Carlo Basile, the most gracious and attentive host we’ve ever encountered. Carlo went above and beyond in every possible way. He even crossed over from Naples just to welcome us personally, give us a full tour of the villa, and make sure we felt completely at ease. He was available 24/7 for any question or need — from local recommendations to small requests — always kind, responsive, and warm. It’s rare to find that level of care and dedication anywhere. Very unique! The villa itself is immaculate: spotlessly clean, beautifully designed with high-quality furnishings, and fully equipped to cook like at home. The mattresses are brand new and incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful and covers the entire property — a true blessing in summer! The view? Stratospheric — sweeping, serene, and unforgettable. The silence and peace around the house made it the perfect oasis to unwind. The pool is the cleanest we’ve ever seen, and the lush garden is maintained daily, looking pristine every day of our stay. A special shout-out to Assunta, the housekeeper, who is a true gem! She visited daily to clean and maintain the villa, and change all towels and all sheets every 3 days!!! something we’ve never experienced at any other holiday home before. Her kindness and professionalism added a special touch to our stay. ❤️ We were a group of 10 people, and every single one of us agreed: this is the best villa we’ve ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. The combination of the location, comfort, service, and above all, Carlo’s outstanding hospitality, made this a home away from home in every sense. HIGHLY recommend Residence Villa Cristina if you plan a vacation on Ischia! Each guest has a private apartment and bathroom with a small kitchenette. The residence is in a private, tropical botanical garden with a beautiful swimming pool. Breakfasts (and other meals) are in a beautiful open air covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and palm trees. Recommend the mezza pensione/half board in which dinner is included. The dinners include several antipasti/appetizers, a primo/pasta, a secondo/meat which was usually fresh local fish, dessert, and wine made by the owners. Very good value for the money and everything was freshly made at the moment! A bonus: the best beach on Ischia, San Francesco, is an easy 10-minute walk from the residence. Will definitely return! The staff is like family!

El Hotel Casa Nicola ofrece piscina cubierta y se encuentra en Succhivo, a 1 km de Sant'Angelo, en la isla de Isquia, y a 5 minutos a pie del mar Tirreno. Room was excellent; excellent mattress; ample shelving and drawers; perfect climate control with heat pump; just right bathroom with good shelving. Breakfast was more than ample; hostess/owner was personable, gracious and helpful. Hot pool/Roman bath was an unexpected treat. Perfectly located 30 feet from a bus stop and easily walkable to Sant’Angelo.
