The location is perfect - close to the old town, while being in the city center (nevertheless, we did not hear the noise). Breakfast was amazing and varied. Some highlights - fresh orange juice, cherry tomatoes, different pies, fresh fruit, various bread. Milk and juice are served in one-portion glass bottles, which is a huge plus. Beds were super comfy and quite large. The room was spacious and clean. The AC is extremely quiet, which is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel has two parking yards in the vicinity (2 and 3 minutes away) - during our two week stay, we were always able to find a spot in the closer one, except for one Saturday.

View was incredible, swimming pool fab size, loved the privacy and quietness and absence of children, bed & linen was super comfortable, room was lovely & large, tv, good sized fridge, kitchenette , shower gel etc Fabulous fresh orange juice for breakfast each day:) Kindness of the manager George. Also his help and concern when husband was unwell with a cold. The grounds were lovely maintained with flowers, herbs, fruit, olive trees and organic tomatoes that were available.

El Petra Thea, construido en piedra y situado en Verga Kalamata, en la región del Peloponeso, ofrece terraza y vistas al golfo de Mesenia. Kalamata está a 5 km. It's absolutely dreamy! I wish I could give it an 11 out of 10. We got here by mere chance when a different property canceled our reservation at the very last moment. We wish it was available for more than 1 night. We didn't want to leave. Absolutely unbelievable view and incredible property! The drive uphill is somewhat challenging, so I would suggest to make sure you arrive during daylight.
