All rooms include a basket with breakfast products such as paistries, coffee, tea, chocolate and water. The hostal was really central to the old town. Just a couple of minutes walk from Plaza De España and Plaza Balcón de Europa. The rooms and en-suites were spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The roof terrace was small but really nice and we spent an afternoon chatting in the whirlpool tub! This wasn’t heated but it was still warm enough in October. The hostal was easy to access with full instructions via WhatsApp of keypad entry. We checked in with our details the next morning and the staff were super friendly. We were able to leave our bags and collect them later on the last day as our flights were in the evening. Great value for money. It was a perfect choice for a weekend away with girlfriends!

A spa is also available, as free as free WiFi. Excellent location, very cozy facilities, nice top floor bar, restaurant and spa. Horel staff very friendly and helpful, not so much at the restaurant, though. Coffee/tea maker in the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is placed right in front of the beach, with just several minutes of walk to beautiful marina with shops and restaurants. You only need 30 seconds to get to the promenade with even more restaurants. Talking of food, breakfast is unreal! there is also a snack bar and a top roof bar with one of the best sunsets I have even seen! This is definitely a place to enjoy yourself, relax and get refreshed for more working months.

Apartamentos Ardales has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and a terrace with wonderful views of the valley. Absolutely exceptional, will definitely return in a few years to do the Caminito del Rey
