This place was the equivalent of heaven on earth. I would consider just buying a ticket to Costa Rica to spend a week here and enjoy total peace and relaxation. Our room was big, with a huge balcony that had two chairs and a hammock. The view is amazing. The place feels so safe that you can sleep with the big windows fully open and be woken up by the horses eating grass outside your window. The WiFi worked great. The shower was huge and with water flowing very well. The location is a big farm so you can even go walk and see dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, anything. They have a swimming pool and a hot tub that you can use anytime you want. They also offer paid laundry service and they have a restaurant. Breakfast was also included and it was great. The hosts and waiters are all really kind and accommodating. Each room has a private parking spot right outside the room. I mean, I could go on for days about how great this place is. My girlfriend and I almost cried when we had to leave. This place is just so great. Do yourself a favor: if you have a car, avoid staying in La Fortuna and stay here. You'll love it.

El Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails, rodeado de 348 hectáreas privadas de bosque tropical, se encuentra emplazado dentro del área de conservación de Arenal, a solo 2,7 km del volcán Arenal, y dispone... Excelente experiencia en la naturaleza, en el atardecer es ensordecedor el ruido de los animales, incomparable con cualquier otro tipo de alojamiento. Muy buena atención.

It felt like we were in a tropical paradise. The tents were large, spacious, clean and comfortable, surrounded by lush vegetation. The ladies at reception were so friendly and helpful. They organised all of our tours and called a taxi when we needed one. The facilities around the property were spectacular, and we loved getting to swim in the pool at night. It felt magical. It was quite overcast while we were there, so we didn’t have the view of the volcano, but that didn’t detract from the amazing environment at all. Great variety for breakfast. Close to many restaurants and the town centre. Highly recommend!

El lugar es muy lindo y el restaurant es excelente. El atún rojo al wasabi increíble. Las habitaciones cómodas y el plus de jacuzzi muy bueno. Nos guiaron con la elección de excursiones y las organizaron perfecto. Recomiendo ampliamente.

It was clean and creepy crawly free. Everyone did such a great job to keep the grounds clean and safe. They went above and beyond. Any question I had it was answered and always good recommendations.
