For the same price we paid for a room in other locations on our four-week Alaska/Yukon Territory road trip, we stayed in a gorgeous, log cabin-style suite with two bedrooms, living room, dining area, winter garden, private entrance onto the large house deck overlooking Marsh lake: The Presidential Suite with 92 m2. Every detail is amazing! The property boasts rental bikes, kayak (free), private seating down by the lake, a pool table… Our gourmet chef prepared exquisite meals both evenings (more than worth the reasonable price for three courses. Reserve in advance). Dinner conversations with other guests were stimulating and invigorating. What can I say? Martha Stewart stayed here. We felt like royalty. If you are ever in the neighborhood, do not miss this one – just 52.6 kilometers from Whitehorse.

The units come with parquet floors and feature a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with hot tub and bathrobes. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine. At the bed and breakfast, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. I couldn't rave more about this property or the attentive hosts Amber and Erik. We only had 4 nights here (family of 5) but all wanted to stay for much longer. The Waterfront Suite were we stayed was warm and so comfortable. The added bonus of the essential food available meant we had food and drink on that first night, after a long trip up and feeling to exhausted to go out. The hosts were so responsive and set us up with the camp fire at short notice and provided us with whatever we needed. And yes, we saw the aurora on our last night. Honestly a beautiful magical place. I highly recommend hiring a car, everything is a short 5/10 minute drive away (we are from Australia and navigated right sided driving just fine as it's still small town vibe).
