Mabel and Nigel are truly exceptional hosts. The location and views are spectacular and the quality of facilities are the best we experienced in Peru. You are made to feel at home and Mabel and Nigel were very attentive without being intrusive, and just the most helpful and generous hosts. From the pickup from the town, drop off to the beginning of the exceptional walk, and early drop off to town, Mabel was so kind, informative and helpful. The evening meals were very tasty and the hot tub was wonderful. It was a highlight of our visit to Peru and wished we could have stayed there longer!

The hotel is amazing, five or six blocks from town centre (slight climb commute), and just 5 minutes from Wanchaq train station, where the Perurail bimodal service to Machu Picchu is. The rooms are cozy and silent, the heating is also very good and modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful

The breakfast was fabulous. The hotel was luxury and the perfect treat after our Inca trail expedition and only evening in Cusco. Definitely recommend and wish we had more time to enjoy.

The hotel property was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful views and authentic Peruvian. We loved it here and would highly recommend!! They were very accommodating to macchu picchu/inca trail travelers with a refillable water station and luggage scales. Breakfast was fantastic.
