The property was very comfortable and the facilities were great. The owners were also very attentive and helpful. The location was good, only a 15 minute walk to Iwatake Mountain. We really enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I booked our room last minute to extend our stay in Hakuba. The staff were extremely helpful, the accommodations were clean and spacious, and they provided free shuttle transport to the gondola base and when it was time for us to leave to to Happo train station as well. Would recommend.

Fantastic hosts, so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They literally drove us to the slopes every day and picked us up. They even drove us to Nagano to catch the train back to Tokyo at the end of our stay. The accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is super modern. To get the best from this property, get stuck in and meet the other guests, it's such a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Noise levels drop by 10pm to ensure a peaceful night sleep and the breakfast/ food it's awesome. Thanks for the fabulous welcome to all the staff at Dark Horse.
