Villa Poeta is well located in a quiet area, an easy 10 minute flat walk into the old town. The room was light, the bed comfortable & the bathroom was large. Everything was clean & in perfect order. The breakfast was excellent. The best part of the stay was undoubtably the hospitality of Maria Teresa the host. She was attentive, caring & helpful. She proudly baked the cakes, prepared the coffee or tea & catered for whatever allergy or preference one may have. She struck us as a very hard worker who should be proud of what she has achieved. She was delightful.

Hotel Santacroce Meeting is a 5-minute drive from the centre of Sulmona, just outside Parco Nazionale della Maiella. Its garden features a swimming pool with hot tub and a sunbathing area.
