Exceptional Hotel Experience! We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The structure itself is great, with beautiful, well-maintained facilities that make it a pleasure to spend time in. The location is also excellent. The real highlight, though, is the food: Every meal over the past week has been a memorable experience, with exceptional variety and meticulous attention to detail in each dish. Every bite, from savory dishes to desserts, feels special. And speaking of desserts—they’re absolutely incredible, as tempting as they are delicious. I’ve never seen anything like this in any other hotel. The breakfast was also really good, offering a wide selection that catered to every taste. I highly recommend booking the half board as we did, you won’t find a restaurant better than this! What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention of the staff from start to finish. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. Can’t recommend it enough! I rarely return to the same place twice, but here, I may rethink my rule. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Porto Vecchio! Very friendly staff, and a clean and beautiful room. The hotel is located in the old town of Chania, but not too noisy or busy. Would definitely go back. Recommend!

Beautiful, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The pool area was really lovely with plenty of comfortable sunbeds available. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice each morning which could be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors with a lovely view of the pool and sea across the road. We were B&B only but we did eat in the hotel one of the evenings and the food was delicious, probably one of our favourite meals of the holiday. We also ate lunch by the pool and that was equally nice. The cocktails were very good too! The room we had was perfect for a couple but a little tight for us (couple and 17 year old). Our 17 year old was sleeping on a sofa bed that was ok but more suited to a smaller child. The room itself was very clean with everything we needed including a little kitchenette area. It was cleaned daily and fresh towels every day. We had a late flight the day we checked out but the hotel was very accommodating with a luggage room to store our bags and fresh towels provided for us to shower in the courtesy room. There is a mini market on site that has everything you might need and very competitively priced too. There isn’t a lot to see or do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel however there is a bus stop right outside the front of the hotel that takes you to Chania old town where there are an abundance of shops and restaurants. The bus can be extremely busy, especially early evening and they pack it as much as they can so be aware of this as it made for a couple of unpleasant journeys. We found the slightly later bus a better option. The journey costs just €2 per person. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return again one day.

    Our stay at this place was absolutely amazing! The room was perfect, spacious, spotless, and provided with everything we needed. The jacuzzi was such a treat for relaxing. The location was fantastic, and the view from the terrace was stunning. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.     Our second stay in Joseph Suite and it was fantastic. The suite has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We particularly liked the size of the terrace with sea views and the hot tub. Everything in the suite is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Situated in central Platanias, you are within minutes of excellent bars and restaurants, shops including a supermarket, and bus stops. The beach is minutes walk away. All in all, we can not fault anything about our stay and have already booked our return trip in 2025!

    Very helpful owners. They gave us good tips. Spacious, clean and a very cosy apartment. The whole apartment is very well equipped. The terrace is amazing with a hot tub. Free parking nearby. I can highly recommend staying there.
