Very helpful and friendly staff, particularly Eduardo and Josephine, who couldn't have done enough for us. Helped us book an early morning taxi to paraty, put up with our terribly poor knowledge of Portuguese and wanted to practice English on us. Great breakfast every day, good coffee, freshly baked cakes delicious. Great location, 2 mins walk down a lane from the centre of Trindade beach and about 3 mins walk from the main centre, but enough away that was quieter... Although whole town pretty chilled and quiet anyway... Bliss. The whole place was spotless clean, our room was clean, made up daily. Room had a fridge, aircon and fan. Was perfect for us as we never spend time in rooms unless asleep. We were in a triple room in the annex.. Had a balcony with nice table and chairs to sit on and amazing views of the jungle. We stayed 5 nights and really loved the whole place location and value for money. Would recommend highly.

Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

Great Pool area Fantastic food (highly recommended) Very relaxing atmosphere We stayed for 6 days with the family (2 adults + one 5 year old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They were also very accomodating to the needs of our little one which was very much appreciated by us.

Wonderful place. Great location. Great management. Lovely people. Friendly vibe. Personal, helpful, kind and sensitive staff.. Lovvely pool. Great breakfast. 10 steps to a perfect uncrowded beach and super friendly beach bars. Perfect.

After a bus journey from Rio that arrived after 10pm, over 2 hours late due to traffic, the suite was nice and relaxing. Very spacious set amongst nice grounds. I saw a beautiful red bird while enjoying a lavish breakfast. Caio on reception is a great English speaking Brazilian and was super helpful. I really appreciate the considerable time and effort Caio spent assisting me.
