It’s a beautiful property, the space is very homely but the lake views make it quite a special feeling. You drive down this long driveway into the farm which is surreal, passing a small lake with wildlife, then entering this house which has a really social and accessible layout. It was so easy for us to mingle but also have the healthy space in between too! Don’t want to share any more spoilers just book it - it’s beautiful and super well equipped too!

Beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night as we were meeting up with my brother and his wife who had been there a couple of days with my elderly mother. My mother had an accessible room which was great for her. Wonderful service from a range of delightful staff. The dinner is the restaurant was fabulous. Not a cheap experience but an exceptional experience.

Mike's Kangaroo Valley was absolutely perfect! It is set in a very secluded spot amongst bushland with beautiful views from both front and back decks. The spa on the deck looking out to the bushland was absolutely divine and was the highlight of our stay!! Inside the cabin was perfect as well with comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms and a kitchen with everything you could need. Thank you again Mike!

We loved everything about this trip from the camp fire being ready to go and garden seating area to the wonderful layout and comfort of Scribblygum Lodge. We loved seeing the kangaroos, wombats and wallabies roaming about, the useful information guide and the hospitality of the hosts. Such a nice feel to the whole space and so lovely to see how they have recovered after the fires.

Situated in Farmeadow, 45 km from Jamberoo Action Park and 46 km from Fitzroy Falls, The Byres offers a garden and air conditioning. A hot tub is available for guests.

Leo, the host, was really friendly and replied quickly to any of our queries. The property is beautiful. We went with our 4mo daughter and set up a travel cot, but you could easily share the bed too. Large bedrooms, stunning kitchen and a beautiful backyard. It’s super close to cafes, 6min walk or 3min drive, which was very convenient. There was also a coffee machine at the property for coffee lovers like me. Would definitely recommend this property!
