To start with, the host offered us an upgrade to a family "desert hut" which was way beyond our expectations. The interiors and the sleeping arrangements were like a 5-star hotel with lots of cars to every detail. We reached after sunset (in dark).. so it was a pleasant surprise to wake up with sand dunes view through windows.. pretty strange feeling but nice one. The host is very calm and friendly to every guest and always taking good care. The people working around are very polite and "happy to help" sort. Breakfast was typical I would say from our Morocco trip till now.. but it was perfect for a fresh start in the morning. Camel rides, camp dinner with music was also organized by the host. Watching sunset across the huge heap of sand dunes was the highlight of this trip. Thanks a lot from our family.

Hôtel Camping La Liberté, en Merzouga, ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas con jardín, terraza y restaurante. Its such a great place near sand dunes, we had a great time there with Mohammed and his son Mhammed, they are very friendly and a amazing people we have ever met in Morocco. Hopefully to visit Hotel La Liberte Merzouga again. Thank you so much!

Have to try Mohammad’s chicken tagine, best dinner I have had over the 5 days in Morocco. Their chicken was freshly prepared and so tasty, meat was succulent it just melted in the mouth. Motorcycle was securely locked up indoors and they own a shop that sell a large variety of reasonably priced garments.They offer private trips to the Merzouga dunes as well which I wish I knew before.

Good atmosphere. Room is OK. It's simple, but good for sleeping. Sometimes there are water issues, because it's a rural village. The food is great! Delicious! 😋

Very nice traditional accommodations, delicious breakfast and dinner (surprisingly best French fries we have ever had), great location near Todas Gorge, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The host introduced us to his aunt who was making a carpet with a loom. The prices of the carpets were very reasonable and they were beautiful.

We struggled to find the hotel, but this is our bad. We noticed a panel indicating the hotel after some back and forth in Merzouga. The staff was amazing, especially Hassan and his crew. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed the pool with a direct view in the dunes and the owner, very warm and keen to share tips on local activities. Thanks all!
