Great location at the bottom of the town centre , especially if you're using the train. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and clean.

With a 24-hour front desk, ibis Rennes Cesson is 3 km from Cesson-Sévigné and 7 km from Rennes. All rooms are serviced by a lift and feature free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.

Expected basic but got thoughtful design with everything clean and in working order. Comfy beds with soft sheets, usb connections by bed, blackout curtains, quiet air con, decent shower, magnifying mirror within bathroom mirror, good shower gel and breakfast had so much variety to choose from. This was a great find on our way through France and will use it again.

Set beside Rennes University, the ibis Rennes Beaulieu is just outside the city centre and Rennes Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Food was good and plenty of it. Underground parking which was secure.
