Carolina Beach is ranked as one of the Top Vacation Beach destinations on the East Coast! There is plenty to do for adults and families, including the boardwalk with carnival rides and games in the summer, plenty of close restaurants and pubs, and of course, the warm water and sandy beaches. Just a 10 minute drive from the North Carolina Aquarium at Ft. Fisher and the ferry to Southport, and only 25 minutes into Wilmington, we are in a great spot to explore all that Southeastern North Carolina has to offer! There is no public transportation at Carolina Beach, but we do have space for 1 vehicle. There are taxi services and Uber/Lyft options as well. But we are more than walkable to downtown Carolina Beach and all the shops, restaurants and pubs, and of course, just steps from the beach!
