The chalet is located at the Junction end of town, a 5 minute stroll to restaurants, bars and coffee. There is unlimited fibre and a smart TV, you can enjoy endless movies and entertainment while watching your own streaming devices. There are also smart TV’s in the bedrooms. The gas fireplace heats up the chalet within minutes, you can relax on the couch with a good book, or whip up a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to help with the clean up. There is a Breville Nespresso coffee machine (pods) with milk frother to help you with those early morning starts before you head off on your adventure. Sleeping up to five guests, it’s ideal for a small family or two couples. You’ll be toasty warm with the feather/down duvets and quality linen. There are also electric blankets and panel heaters in both bedrooms. One room has a king size luxury orthopaedic bed, and the other has a queen size luxury orthopaedic merino bed, and a king single. After a big day of adventures, you can soak in the spa and take in the picturesque views of Mt Ruapehu. Please note that the chalet is close to the train tracks, trains do go past the property, however not very frequently.
I love the outdoors and Ohakune is a great stop, whether you like the snow, hiking or mountain biking, there is something for everyone in this unique little town. I hope you enjoy your stay in my chalet.
