The apartment (SilMar) is located in the medieval village of Camogli in the silent alley parallel to the main street. It is the most authentic area of Camogli, built to defend against attacks by the Saracens coming from the sea. SilMar preserves the ancient Ligurian tradition in building houses with the remains of abandoned ships; you can see the traces already climbing the stairs to access the apartment. The stairs of the ancient buildings of Camogli (SilMar is situated at 4° floor, no elevator and not suitable for the people with disabilities) also served as the last defense against the pirates; arrived at home you can enjoy the view of the entire Camogli.
