Property information

Goðaland Guesthouse and Glamping is located in the south of Iceland. With a view to the famous volcano Eyjafjallajökull. Great location to have as your base for couple of days when visiting the south of Iceland. You can easily schedule your day trips from here to Vestmanneyjar, Gluggafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Reynisfjara, Sólheimajökull, the Plane wreck, everything within an hour drive. The guesthouse that is family owned, has only 9 rooms, single, double and quadruple. The glamping site has 10 large tents and 4 extra large tents. They are strong luxury canvas glamping tents, fully funished, heated beds with bed linen and a fan heater. Complimentry bottle of none acholic berverage. Goðaland Guesthouse and Glamping, has free WiFi, flatscreen TV, free parking, shared bathrooms, showers, free toiletries, free light breakfast (coffee, tea, cereal and ect. Guests can also order continental breakfast (additional cost). Great restaurants close by such as Hygge, Smáratún, Gallerí Pizza, Cafe Eldstó, Valhalla restaurant and Midgard. Only 7 minutes drive from Hvolsvöllur where you find a swimmingpool with slide, hot tubs and sauna.

The village Hvolsvöllur is 10 km distance, there you can find f. eks. supermarket, gasstation, bank, swimmingpool, and restaurants. The area is very beautiful and you can see the mountains, like Eyjafjallajökull, Þríhyrningur (good to hike), very good to take several day-tours from the guesthouse.
