“On arrival the rain came down .The receptionist saw this and offered an umbrella. The apartments are around 8 steps from reception so I thought ( how kind ) .Street parking was easy to use .Metered .Safe leaving our car and again around 10 steps”

The Ranald Hotel and Apartments are both sleek, modern buildings located right in the centre of Oban, only a short distance from the nearby train and ferry stations. Whether staying in our Hotel or Apartments, we combine modern comforts with traditional Scottish touches that makes every guest’s visit with us a relaxed and happy experience.

Neighbourhood information

With our central location just off Oban’s main street, the town’s best restaurants and pubs are only a stone’s throw away. Oban is one of the best destinations in the UK for seafood, and guests can sample some of the town’s best at our sister restaurant, The Waterfront Fishouse Restaurant.
