Nestled in the serene Longborough countryside, this dog-friendly shepherd’s hut combines rustic charm with modern comfort. Just a short walk from Cotswold Barn, where you can enjoy wonderful food, it’s perfect for peaceful escapes or romantic getaways, with views of rolling hills and picturesque farmland. Ideally located for exploring the Cotswolds, including Broadway Tower, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, and many more charming villages.

Cotswold Nest is ideally situated on the same site as Cotswold Barn, an award winning cafe and gift shop. You can choose from a delicious breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Dogs are also welcome to join you on your visit!
Situated just outside of Longborough, a peaceful and largely undiscovered village with lots of hidden gems, and is also home to the Longborough Festival Opera.
Visit one of many beautiful homes and gardens such as Batsford Arboretum, Bourton House and Gardens, Sezincote House and Gardens, Hidcote Manor and Gardens, Snowshill Manor and Gardens and Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens all nearby, garden lovers will be in their element.
Every year at the height of summer, enjoy a walk through the Cotswold Lavender fields. Boasting over 35 different varieties of lavender covering approximately 45 acres of the farm. Bring a picnic and take in the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a popular Cotswold village, nicknamed the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' with its pretty river running through and many attractions such as Birdland Park and Gardens, the Model Railway the Model Village and also the Motor Museum. If you fancy something a little different, head over to the popular Hawkstone Brewery and partake in a brewery tour and find out how the famous Hawkestone lager and cider is made!
Stow-on-the-Wold, with its art galleries and antique shops, is about a ten minute drive, whilst Winchcombe with the well-known Sudeley Castle is about thirty minutes away.
The north porch of St. Edward's Church in Stow on the Wold, is home to a wooden door which looks like something from a fairy story.
Just a 10-minute drive from the hut, Broadway Tower is a quintessentially English country destination, set within a 200-acre estate of parkland, featuring the Tower Museum, a Deer Park, and walking grounds perfect for picnics.
