This accommodation only Hotel was originally built in the late 19th century. The Charlesworth is situated in the very centre of Bournemouth, only 8 minutes from the award-winning beaches and the town’s shops, bars and restaurants. In the town’s Westcliff area, the Charlesworth still retains many of its attractive original period features. Today, the building has been sensitively updated and offers en suite rooms. All room are well equipped, with a fan, Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, showers and hairdryers. The Hotel has 13 rooms over three floors - We have no lift. Pet-friendly rooms are available by request for an additional charge. Free WiFi wireless internet access is available throughout and the hotel also offers on-site private parking for an additional price.

Company information

Wendy & Brian own the Charlesworth and have done since 2006. We welcome all guests as they make our job worthwhile. Many of them return time and again and we think of them as friends. We have a relaxed atmosphere and love welcoming the children to our Home. We strive to ensure that everyone has a relaxing and comfortable stay and return home refreshed.

Property information

We are a family run NON SMOKING Accommodation Hotel set in the heart of Bournemouth. Just 8minutes from 7 miles of sandy beach and only 8 minutes to the main shopping centre (known as the Square) Very close to the Bournemouth International Centre (home to concerts/shows and conferences) The Hotel was built in 1890 and therefore has a distinctive homely feel just like a House. All rooms are sold on a "room only" basis. Parking available on the premises (daily charge) ~~WE ARE STRICTLY COUPLES/FAMILIES ONLY ~~NO STAGS/HENS/SINGLES PERMITTED~~

Neighbourhood information

Being in close proximity to the beach, there is always something to do - from the Bournemouth Eye to the Oceanarium, cinemas, cosmopolitan shops and bars/nightlife. (Not forgetting the must have Fish and Chips!)
