A self catering, dog friendly, tranquil central Highland hideaway. Studio is first floor only (garage below), located in the quiet outskirts of the secluded village of Newtonmore within the Cairngorms National Park. A stunning base for sightseeing, hiking, walking, wildlife, fishing, golf, outdoor activities (inc winter sports), touring (wildlife park, folk museum, distillery visits) and much much more.
The 2 double bedroom first floor studio is a self contained separate building to the owners home set in large mature wooded gardens (home to red squirrels) Gardens are shared with owner.
The studio is licensed for 4 persons only and comprises open plan living room, kitchenette & dining area. Sofas, Full SkyQ, 4K smart tv (Netflix/YouTube), maps, books & games are available).
Each of the 2 bedrooms include bed (1x room: double sized/ 1x room: queen sized) drawers, side table and wardrobe hanging space.
Kitchen area equipped with oak counter, butler sink, built in fridge/freezer, cooker and induction hob. Microwave, kettle & toaster and all basic kitchen utensils for simple cooking requirements.
Bathroom (sink, w/c, large power shower (no bath).
The owner (and 2x dogs) occupies the adjacent property and is predominately on-site and is contactable 24/7 during your stay.
Local pubs, restaurants, cafes, Indian takeaway, petrol station, post office, cash machines & co-op supermarket all within short walking distance.
Newtonmore train station (Caledonian Sleeper train stop from London) is a 3 minute walk away.
