The Broughton Hall Estate comprises 3000 acres of ancient parkland, woodland and moors on the edge of The Yorkshire Dales, near the market town of Skipton. The vast 3000-acre grounds are at your disposal, wander down through the estate and admire the imposing stately home of Broughton Hall itself, and spot wildlife and birds as well as quaint bridges across the river. The popular market town of Skipton is 3 miles away and offers a host of things to do for all ages. The Tour de France and the Tour de Yorkshire have both passed through Skipton and the surrounding countryside in recent years. The area is peppered with gourmet pubs serving local produce as well as hearty, traditional pub food and there is a plethora of restaurants and bars in Skipton to choose from should you wish to treat yourself and dine out during your stay. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile. Skipton Train Station is less than ten minutes away by car and the Estate is walking distance to local bus routes
