The Tour de France and the Tour de Yorkshire have both passed through Skipton and the surrounding countryside in recent years. The area is peppered with gourmet pubs serving local produce as well as hearty, traditional pub food and there is a plethora of restaurants and bars in Skipton to choose from should you wish to treat yourself and dine out during your stay.
