Situated in the seaside village of Llangennith, Blas Gwyr offers original features merged with 21st-century design. A traditional cooked Welsh breakfast is served each morning, and produce is locally sourced wherever possible. Surfing, kite-boarding, kayaking or paragliding can all be enjoyed within the local area.

Llangennith beach (also known as Rhosilli bay) is no more than a 20min walk or 5min drive as is the nearby Broughton Bay. Other popular beaches such as Oxwich, Three Cliffs and Port Eynon are around 15-20mins away. Walkers can enjoy a range of stunning walks directly from the premises. The local pub, The King's Head, is approximately 150m away. A choice of pubs and restaurants to be found within 15mins by car
