Company information

Ilomäki Farm is family-run and the owners, the sixth generation to run the farm, continue to live here. Merja and Jarmo Ilomäki are responsible for the day-to-day running of the farm. We very much look forward to our guests arriving and you are always welcome to come and watch as we go about our daily tasks on the farm. If you prefer, you are of course welcome to have a more private experience and simply enjoy the quiet and seclusion your cottage offers.

At Ilomäki farm stay holidays, we offer our visitors cosy and comfortable cottage accommodation, beautiful nature, Finnish traditions and plenty of peace and seclusion all year round in the small village of Peräseinäjoki, close to the city of Seinäjoki, in western Finland. There are plenty of opportunities for laid-back fun for families and groups alike, including walks and enjoying an authentic Finnish löyly in the sauna.

Neighbourhood information

Just the experience of spending time living on a real working farm is enough to make the visit really special for our guests. If you’re looking for more to do, however, many local attractions are within easy reach of the farm, including amusement parks like Powerpark and the Duudson Activity Park, while Ähtäri Zoo is a chance for you to get face-to-face with a wide range of Finnish animals and even a pair of giant pandas. Thanks to our central location, our farm is ideally placed for exploring the wider region, and you can always be sure of a warm welcome when you return to the farm after a busy day of sightseeing and activities. The centre of Peräseinäjoki is 4 km (shops, pharmacy, restaurants, service station, church), and the city centre of Seinäjoki 30 km from the farm.
