My Husband Pete and I love hosting and meeting new people. We say that we are more blessed than our guests as we are meeting people from all walks of life, culture, backgrounds and interests that makes hosting very enjoyable. We enjoy having our grandkids and their parents, which keeps us entertained. I work in a medical Centre in town as a nurse which keeps me out of mastiff and Peter is semi-retired which makes him flexible to meet the needs of the guests staying at our Rocky Rest.
Rocky Rest is situated in a well established quiet area of Orange, NSW, Australia all year round. Lake Canobolas welcomes a refreshing cool off in the Summer and easy walking around the lake any season of the year but in particular it displays beautiful autumn glory with its Autumn leaves. Mount Canobolas offers fresh snow during the winter and amazing water falls in the Spring. Orange offers multiple cafes by day and fine dinning by night. Don't forget the museums and art gallery's which is a must during your stay and we can't forget the winery tours around this area. Orange was the birth place of the famous poet, Bango Patterson.
