After marrying in June of 2023, we've decided to make Hawley Beach our home. We're passionate about Tassie, especially the NW coast. Ben: I was born and bred on the northwest coast, and have worked as a pilot flying the Boeing 737 around Australia and the South Pacific. Camille: I've always lived on the Gold Coast, and have worked as a beauty therapist and Principal of a well-respected beauty school. I love Tassie and am excited to be here! I'm available by phone mostly, or my mother Marion as per contact details should any thing arise that needs our attention:) Or if you just need some guidance on what the Northwest Coast has to offer, always helps to ask a local!

Relax the day away @ Devonport's Relax @ Manning! The space is a relaxing retreat after a busy day on business or exploring the many activities on the Northwest coast and beyond. Leather couches, a 55 inch smart TV, comfortable beds, warm/light-filled lounge and dining rooms, and modern kitchen with ocean views all make for an enjoyable stay.

Neighbourhood information

There’s so much on offer within the local area and beyond. Devonport in the last few years has ramped up its appeal to those seeking good coffee and restaurants offering fine local produce. Plenty of beaches to keep the kids entertained during the summer, or the dog in winter..or both! Cradle Mountain is a great day trip, Leven Canyon is spectacular, and of an evening there’s a few places to view fairy penguins wander up the beach, such as Lillico Strait and Hawley Point. Mountain biking is fast becoming an option with the first stage of the Wild Mersey Project completed. Diving, surfing, fishing are also a coast favourite when the weather conditions are suitable. Public transport is limited in Tasmania in general, a hire car would be recommended for the area. It’s only 3 mins by car to the CBD and 5 mins to the beach/Bluff.
