Right from check-in we were made to feel welcome. The buildings have been beautifully restored and feel fresh and clean. Lots of small features that make the accommodation feel luxe. Our room was a great size and spotless. Very comfortable bed. Various spaces to unwind. On a rainy Auckland day we felt happy to go back and relax in a nice environment. Kitchen area was clean and well stocked.

Walk down and the Onetangi beach is right there. Super social hostel with many on whv. We played the lord of the rings edition of monopoly that we borrowed from reception and it was really fun! The shared showers were very hot and powerful. The bedroom was warm once we had the heater on. Diego, the manager was so kind!!

There was a kettle in the room. Nice not having to leave the room to go to use the bathroom-bathroom was very modern with shampoo, condition, body wash and a hairdryer
