One of my favorites of hostels I’ve stayed in. I feel so comfortable and at home in this place. And will be coming back when I’m next in Kathmandu. Their facilities were beyond what I expected: a hot shower with GREAT pressure, clean toilets, super comfortable and warm beds, great WiFi service, super friendly and helpful staff, amazing food at the restaurant downstairs, and a generally homely and safe place in a great location within Thamel.

In my opinion Nepalaya Home Hostel is one of the best budget accommodations in Kathmandu. it's clean, pleasant, and offers excellent value for money What genuinely distinguishes it is the amazing hospitality, particularly of Amrit the hard work guy always smiling and always provide problem solving ideas for guests.  His warm welcome, friendly demeanor, and genuine concern for guests make you feel right at home. He never fails to be willing to help, whether you need travel advice or simply want to talk everyone becomes friends so fast with him . This hostel is an excellent alternative for budget tourists due to its pleasant environment, friendly environment and convenient location. Highly recommended!

Reserve una la habitacion con baño privado, es super grande y puedes ver el Monkey temple desde tu ventana. Buena limpieza. Espacios comunes amplios y venta de comida. Servicio de bodega para guardar tu equipaje. Servicios de tours y trekking. El dueño y su personal son legitimamente amables y serviciales, te daran los consejos que necesites para moverte por Nepal. Las paredes tienen lindas pinturas y tienes buenas vistas de la terraza superior.

Nextdoor Patan dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Pātan. El alojamiento cuenta con bar y se encuentra a 2,4 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú. Este lugar es increíble, ES HERMOSOO, super limpio, cómodo, con espacios hermosos para leer, escribir y compartir. Tiene un desayuno tradicional nepalí incluido. El agua caliente funciona bien, los baños están muy limpios y las habitaciones muy cómodas. De los mejores hosteles que me he quedado en mi vida. El staff es muy simpático, te ayudan con todo y dan recomendaciones. El barrio es tranquilo, hay varios locales alrededor y está a 20 min caminando de la parte más turística.

I spent a whole day looking for a suitable hostel in Kathmandu. After comparing 6 hostels, I finally chose Birds Nest. It turned out to be the best choice I made. I was attracted by the beautiful courtyard of the hostel at first, as if I was in the nature. Of course, the staff here are also super nice, we greeted and chatted every day. There are also very delicious food here, with local characteristics and reasonable prices.

Our room had a private washroom inside the room! The location is great because it is calm and not so crowded. You can go to the center by Taxi (10 min) and by foot (30 min).

I love this hostel and the people that make it! it's hard to come across a place that just makes you feel so welcomed, but this place do.
