His personality is just so wonderful that I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. He is very knowledgeable not only about Aqaba but also about Wadi Rum and Amman. I wish I had known him earlier.

The place is also in close proximity to many sites. I would recommend Wadi Rum Oryx Hostel over and over again for anyone going to Wadi Rum.

First night fantastic location, very lively and great vibe. Easy walking to many restaurants and shops. Very helpful owner who goes over and beyond to make a stay that is comfortable and just right for you. We are in our late sixties so for us the location was a bit too noisy, so the owner took us to his other hostel (Alamer home from home ) for our second night and it was wonderful. A bit further from the beach but still easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. We loved the very friendly and homely vibe in this quiet location.
