Youth Hostel St. Alban features both bedrooms with private bathrooms and shared dormitory rooms. All have a minimalist design but are still extremely comfortable. Expect lots of wood furniture and large windows. Staff are friendly and the hostel is clean and family friendly. Breakfast was great. Location is very good near to all the christmas markets that we want to visit.

This might be one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had.I have been traveling for few years now and have stayed in a lot of hostels around the world and this hostel has really impressed me.The capsule where I slept in was comfortable,warm and offered much more privacy than a normal bunk bed. The hostel breakfest was really good too and the whole place was generally very clean and welll maintained.Plus the hostel is super close to the main train station and public transportation. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Very accessible, clean and comfort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was very refreshing, with a very good outdoor space. Everything you need for a good night's sleep.
