You will fall in love with the place and people. Incredible location. It is probably among the few places that meets your expectations in your entire traveller life. It matches in everithing the advertising description, great heritage interpretation of the building that host the hostel, excellent staff in an era of self checking-in when you do all by yourself and just pay for the services, here you will meet a unique staff with great people and language skills and an extra-something that is uniquely theirs. They are all unique as individuals in their way, style and skills and they work as a team. It is the old fashion excellence standard in tourism hostelling (and I am telling you that as someone who teaches that in a tourism HE program). Thank you Cathy, Tatiana, Juan, Eugene and anyone who was behind the scenes. :)

Everything, specifically the staffs , each of them were extremely sweet, helpful. The cleaning lady made sure my bed is clean and she volunteered to clean it after few days of my stay to ensure I have better sleep, it was a nice gesture. the location, kitchen ,cleanliness, people and the vibe around the hostel were 10/10. It was the best stay of my 3 months long trip so far. I worked from the hostel and the internet connection was also great to work from there. On the continuation of my trip after leaving the hostel I do miss it.

Good location, even if not in the center of Coimbra. Rooms , bathrooms and public areas are very clean Beds are comfortable, with a reading light and a USB plug for every bed.Llinen and towel are included. Breakfast is really good, with bread, cheese, ham, jam, yogurt, cereals, fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice. I would definitely stay again

We were lucky to have stayed in a room with great view of the city. The hotel is located on a hill close to the Botanical Garden and to the University of Coimbra. So it goes without saying you need a bit of fitness for going up the hill, but that is Portugal.The hotel is quiet and located in a nice mansion. Breakfast was good, unfortunately not earlier than 7am.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hostel. It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel if you reserve a private room. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and breakfast was quite satisfying! The owners were also so thoughtful and kind, and take amazing care of the property! Even though it was a little rainy, the hiking nearby was really pretty, and it’s easy to hike or drive to explore a few of the schist villages from Lousã. We’d be thrilled to return!!

I was lucky and got a whole room for myself and the staff was amazing, Pedro and Rita were there for everything I needed and were always super friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were both clean upon arrival.
