Me and my husband travelled to Granada and stayed at the Casa Yoly in the Deluxe room with a private bathroom. It's a little hostel in the historical part of Granada. It was always fresh inside the room as walls are thick, there was an A/C, ventilator, wardrobe to hang up your clothes. The room was spacious with everything you need and clean. The atmosphere was homey, friendly and quiet. No discotheques nearby. Though the location is great! It's next to the historical streets, plazas, there are 2 great cafes next to it: the garden cafe and pita pita. The lady on the reception was always helping with any information.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels in the last year, and this one is definitely top 5. The common areas are spacious, with lots of comfortable seating. The kitchen is clean, lots of counter space, and there are three stovetops. The dorms are well designed, with large lockers, fans, reading lights, and outlets inside the lockers. The bathrooms have hooks and shelves. The free breakfast is great. The tours they offer are a good value and easy to sign up for. The vibe is social but it’s not a party hostel. There’s a big staff, so someone is always available to help you, and they keep everything clean and nice. The location is very convenient, close to the main plaza and to the shopping district.

The manager Edna is super friendly and helpful and knows everything about Geanada and Nicaragua from history to restaurant tips and everything in between. The location is just 2 minutes walk from the cathedral and about 15 min from the long distance bus stop.

This property is within walking distance to San Juan de Oriente and Catarina where there is much to see and do if you are a creative traveller or on a walking holiday that passes nearby. This family of artists are simply wonderful; they went out of their way to make my stay as a solo traveller more enjoyable, introducing me to the fruits i brought in the local town and even showing me some ancient stone carvings in their local woodland. The accommodation offers excellent value for money and i enjoyed a wonderful ceramics lesson with a master ceramicist. Here you can enjoy an authentic Nicaraguan experience in terms of the surrounding environment whilst feeling safe, and knowing your hosts are trying to improve their local environment. Fall asleep listening to sounds of the forest and wake up to watch monkeys in the trees.

Everything, it’s a great place to stay. Since the minute you walk in is all nature, you are surrounded by a lot of trees and have a great view of the lake where you can just chill and relax all day, also enjoy of different activities that they have for you (kayaking, pottery, etc) I surely recommend this place.

Location was perfect close to the market and bus connections, walking distance from everywhere. Staff was super nice and doña Maria helped us with her known dedicated/trustworthy taxi driver for the rides to volcan Masaya and Managua airport. There is a fridge in the kitchen and WiFi works perfectly. When you go through the main gate it’s a surprise how large the house actually is with the inner garden and breakfast area.

Very satisfied with this hostel as a budget choice. A very good location in the center. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful for anything I needed. Hostel is cleaned everyday and my room and bathroom were cleaned regularly. Nice pool to cool off in the Granada heat. A good choice of places to relax outside the room. Good free coffee every morning. Wifi worked well save when Grananda suffered an occasional short power outage.

It was a really big hostel. Lots of space both in the room but also in the big common area. Sofas, chairs, swimming pool, hammocks. So, so nice! And the breakfast is included, classic gallo pinto with eggs and a glass of juice. Comfy beds, clean. Lots of showers, lots of bathrooms. Staff really nice! The location is near everything!
