Exceptional Stay – Truly a Hidden Gem in Tulum! 🌴🌟 I had an amazing time at Maui Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations for exploring Tulum. The vibe is relaxed and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers without feeling like a wild party hostel. The rooms and common areas were immaculately clean and well-maintained. The beds were super comfortable with privacy curtains and personal lockers – ideal for getting a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was a lifesaver after hot days out. What really sets Maui Hostel apart is the atmosphere – chill but fun. The rooftop is a perfect spot to unwind with a drink or catch sunset. They also offer bike rentals, which made it super easy to get to the beach and around town. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world, and Maui is definitely one of my favorites. It has the perfect balance of comfort, community, and location. Can’t recommend it enough – wish I could’ve stayed longer!

What to say.. this hostel is simply the best. Not only for the nice kitchen, breakfast (especially the one of Daniel ♥️) and cleaned rooms, but also for the beautiful and super chill atmosphere that you will find. We were supposed to stay there 3 nights and last minute we added 2 more, we didn't want to leave! A special thanks to all the staff (especially Daniel and Judas) that welcomed us in their beautiful little family. PS: turco loco is also an added value and Teresa makes the best pancakes.

I went on a solo trip to Mexico for the first time and this was the first place I stayed. I had never stayed in a hostel before and was kind of nervous about the experience but it was amazing! I stayed at one other hostel during my stay and I much preferred Che. There's a very cool vibe to Che, it's extremely social but not in the forced awkward way. Everyone is super kind and the staff is pretty lax which ultimately made me feel more comfortable! The drinks and food are pretty cheap too! I spent less in Che on food and drinks than I did in one single hour near the beach. They have all you can eat food options as well, my first night was all you can eat BBQ for like 100 pesos and it was absolutely AMAZING. The rooms aren't anything special, pretty standard but clean. The vibe was immaculate though. People from other hostels all gather at Che to pregame before they go out so I met so many amazing people. A wonderful start to my vacation. I highly recommend Che!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Mexico during my 2-month trip! Everything was really clean, the rooms were really spacious, nice and with AC. The bathrooms and showers were also clean. Staff was really really friendly. I had the breakfast for only 5USD and it was AMAZING! There were so many activities everyday, I did the 8AM yoga and was really nice. I definitely recommend!

Great dorms, first time solo travelling in a hostel. Felt very comfortable and safe. Felt private in the beds, nice and comfortable. Toilets and bathroom were clean. Whole building well maintained. Beautiful common rooms. Good breakfast deal, cheaper than most places. Events were plentiful and organised well to socialise and explore Tulum.
