Location was excellent within 200 mts of all temples. Care taker boy ritik was simply superb and very helpful. I strongly reccomend to take help of ritik to exploring all the places which was very helpful for us. Antique house converted into hotel which was a unique experience to stay for us.

The host guys in the reception are very kind. They were worried about me because it took me a lot of time to reach the place because I had issues with my phone. They ask the local people to bring me to the train station in order to don't suffer a scam. They are making some upgrades so it will be an even better place.

The best part was being able to hear a sitar performance on the rooftop plaza at night. When I made the reservation, I was told that I needed to transfer half of the room charge to the hotel's account in advance, but due to my lack of knowledge, I could not transfer the money overseas. I inquired with the hotel about this and was told that I could pay at the counter on the day of reservation, which was very helpful. The subsequent communication was also polite and reassuring.

The staff are absolutely wonderful and will make you feel right at home. The owner (Aman) really went out of his way and even arranged a little birthday party for me. The location is great, really close to the ghats. The blankets in the room are super thick and cosy. The rooftop at the hostel is also really cool and is a great place to watch sunsets and people flying kites. Overall, it's a safe and friendly hostel where the staff will take care of you. Thanks guys!

great hostel, exactly what you’d expect from a backpacker hostel. Great common area (games room, guest shower, terrace with kitchen). Really makes for a relaxed atmosphere. we stayed for holi, and when things got a bit rowdy in town we came back here where there was a really nice party (very safe, with checks of who was allowed in and who not). the people who work there are super friendly and accommodating for traveler’s needs (clear info and help, even provided extra soap and towel to use for our post holi shower). highly recommend!

Perfect location. The hostel really exceeded my expectations, super clean and great facilities. Staff were friendly and all the people I met were friendly too. It felt super safe. The neighbourhood was also very safe. Great location for the old town. I was sad to leave and will return!
