I loved the design of the property, and the breakfast of course. The breakfast was one of our fav things, it was delicious, aesthetic, the bread always fresh, the staff was very friendly. I can say more and more! I loved the karaoke in the terrace.

I was so glad to get the chance to stay at Del Cielo. Tomas is an inspiring guy who is going to (and has done) amazing things for La Loma. The area feels like a home away from home, so incredibly safe, I got a bit lost one evening, and I was walked back to the hostel by locals. So kind. It's super easy to jump on the local buses and get to the metro, it's not far from all the places you want to go. Ubers learn something new everything time they go there, seeing it's a great place to live and stay and that people want to visit and stay in La Loma. The hostel itself is super friendly, and everyone is lovely. Lili, the kids, Tomas. When I was there, there was an empanada cooking class, and a barbecue where everyone got involved, and got to know each other. Lili gave me some salsa tips, and I learned about Call Me Mamá. What a great project. Each day I was there, there was a new piece of equipment added to the kitchen, a conscious effort to constantly improve. The View!!! Breathtaking, day and night!! Impossible to grow tired of. I think this hostel is going to grow in its success and popularity, and I wish it all the success possible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOSTEL FOR AN AUTHENTIC Medellin experience. ❤️

Social area is really beautiful and big, relaxing area with hemmock, breakfast really good with pancake and fruits, free coffee and water. Bed size and mattress are excellent and wifi signal as well. Staff were super nice and location is 10min from metro station in a very safe neighborhood full of restaurants , bars and convenience stores. There is also a bathroom only for women.

It's a nice low key hostel, with very friendly staff. I was planning to stay here for a week, but ended up staying for two months! Highly reccommend if you are looking for a place that is social, but not too social, not noisy at night, and that has very friendly staff. Orlando and Ginny especially are amazing hosts.
