I was traveling by bicycle solo through SE Asia and stopped here for one night before cycling to HCMC. The room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were absolutely delightful; they were so kind and made me feel totally welcome. I felt perfectly safe here and would recommend this homestay without hesitation.

The room was simple but the mattress was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and the internet worked well. They made me a good meal for dinner and a good meal for breakfast.

Hay parking privado en el propio alojamiento. why not if you need to stay in Cai Be but the price (1 300 000DNG, yes you read that right) is really exaggerated. We paid 300 000DNG for better places. Important to note : you do not sleep in the ancient house but in a newer, random building. It’s clean and room is big enough. But it misses a proper glassed window, and charm. Also we arrived not so late (8 o’clock) and it was already closed. Our taxi driver had to call them as they are not on what’s app. Finally, the area is a bit to industrial so not necessarily a pleasure to wander around… the hosts were also not particularly keen on providing information. Food was okay but was served in very big quantities, which was not necessary…

To start the property was a gem of a place, it was truly a rustic yet sophisticated homestay. Beautifully decorated for Tet and surrounded by trees and gardens, it was a really relaxing and comfortable place to unwind. We had stayed in a bungalow, which had everything you needed, mosquito net, aircon, comfortable beds, and a very rustic and cool bathroom/shower area. The bungalow came with a small porch out front, which was nice to hang out and have a drink, either in the morning or evening. The staff was really attentive and exceeded our expectations, and the host was welcoming with a great personality. She helped organize a tour for us that ended up being a highlight of the trip. Ask for Nhan Dinh, one of the best tour guides I've had in a while, really attentive and spoke really good English. Was eager to answer a million questions we had, and was just a great guy to spend the day with, he felt more like a friend than a tour guide. The homestay was also a short bike ride to the end of the island where you can watch an amazing sunset, make sure to bring a headlamp for the ride back! We managed to ride our bikes back, but some areas were really dark, had to use our phone's flashlight. This was our first time exploring the Mekong River area and the homestay really provided an exceptional experience.

Also very polite and helpful host. Nice location. You can easily reach the ocean, the Mekong or cities like Cho Gao, My Tho and Ben Tre from there. Street food only few metres away.
