I had read only good things about this hotel, so being positively surprised was going to be difficult. But they managed it. The garden is stunning. The staff are amazing. The food is lovely. The excursions are so nicely organised. Everything we needed was provided. My two kids (3 and 5) are still saying they miss thu and thu and tam (three staff) who played with them doing crafts, swinging on the swing and just laughing and having fun. They were sad to leave, as were we.

The staff was always attentive and caring. Sora was an excellent host and communicated fluently in English. She replies quickly to any request by WhatsApp or phone. She also gives very good recommendations about where to go. The breakfast options include a variety of Vietnamese and Western dishes. Despite me being a pescatarian, I was able to enjoy many different breakfast options that were both delicious and nutritious. They have bycicles and motorbikes for rent. Cleanliness was above the average in this area. There are many places to eat lunch and dinner less than 5 minutes away walking from the homestay.

Sông Mê Home is a recently renovated homestay in Vĩnh Long, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also has a family-friendly restaurant and a sun terrace. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The place is really great. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean - especially the bathrooms. AC works super fine and it was not facing the bed directly (I love these details) the bed is a bit softer than the usual Vietnamese ones - still harder than the average European. The food was awesome (I had the elephant ear fish, it's exceptionally nicely arranged and prepared, and big enough for two) The staff is super friendly. There are three generations living in the house the elders don't speak English but so there best with Google translate, the daughter speaks English and German like a pro and the young ones try there best with basic school English. What is really exceptional about the place is how helpful they are and how much they enable their guests to experience the surroundings by boat bike or even motorbike if you ask nicely :) Really 10/10 imho

Kim Ngân Motel is offering accommodation in Chau Doc. This guest house provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The accommodation features luggage storage space and a tour desk for guests. It was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Staff were very friendly and helped us book onwards bus tickets, taxis etc. Very good service and sweet people! Excellent value for money.

I liked the location... it was just a magical place, directly on the river, with beautiful sunsets and sunrises... the owners were extremely friendly and open... bicycles for riding adventures for free, fruits directly from the trees, just a unbelievable beautiful place to stay, relax and meditate...

All units in the homestay are equipped with a kettle. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and slippers, some units at the homestay also feature a terrace. At the homestay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Extremely central location, clean facilities, great AC, breakfast fruits and tea included, laundry included (sooo helpful in sweaty Chạu Đọc), and a wonderful host family with their daughter Vì who not only speaks English but also helps you out a tremendous amount on the trip. She provides great tips on food recommendations, local attractions, and even booked our tickets to Cambodia for us. A must stay for any tourist travelling through Chạu Đọc. We stayed for a week as a family of four to visit family in town and this homestay truly felt like a home away from home. If I wasn’t already travelling with native Vietnamese speakers, this homestay would have been even that much more helpful as a traveller. Oh and during a brief power outage (which seems to be scheduled city wide) the host family provided a battery powered fan to help ease the time without AC. They were so considerate of everything we needed!
