What a unique and fantastic Homestay!! Stayed with my boyfriend and father and it holds a loving place in my heart! It is away from the busy city, right on the river. Many fishermen coming and going morning and night. It’s great to sit and watch. Take a longtail boat across the river into a local small town. There’s a wonderful night market there with lots of options and delicious food, clothes, and place for kids to play. Adorable cats live here. Also the hosts are friendly, know only a little bit of English. I recommend asking them to help you book a snorkeling tour! Oh and she cooks VERY delicious breakfasts! Best breakfasts I’ve had in SE Asia.

The most comfortable beds, great breakfast, fruits in the afternoon as a snack. Great beach, very little people. The host and the hostess are super nice. Clean towels every day. It was absolutely superb! And a surf club near by serves a great food.

Eco-Logic, Resort for Charity, que tiene jardín, bar y vistas al río, está en Phato, a 42 km de Baños Termales de Raksa Warin. Such a great and special experience! We enjoyed a lot, but mostly the people. The owners are very kind and caring people that have created an amazing resort while supporting many local kids with special needs. The resort has been thoughtfully designed with a beautifull common space (including play room for kids!) where all meals where served. We loved the vibe that makes it is easy to interact with fellow guests and the staff. There are lots of choices in activities, including many where kids can take part in. We also joined in on a couple of activities at the school (like gardning, banana cake making) which is a great oppurtunity to experience the impressive work that the owners have accomplished. We totally recommend this place for all open-minded people that are looking for relaxing and/or interactive Thai days at a beautiful place in the jungle. A must-see!
