This guesthouse definitely exceeded my expectations. The location is ideal, being very close to the airport, and the self-check-in service is perfect for late arrivals. The room is exceptionally quiet—I’m quite sensitive to noise, but I slept very well throughout my stay. Everything is impeccably clean and hygienic. The large kitchen, which includes a stove and refrigerator, is also spotless. The view of the courtyard is beautiful and pleasant. The guest host Helen was extremely friendly and provided detailed check-in instructions as well as excellent recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. She was always quick to respond to any inquiries. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Boasting a shared lounge, Solar dos Poetas is a guest house situated in a historic building in the centre of Lisbon, close to Dona Maria II National Theatre. The property has river and city views, and is less than 1 km from Commerce Square. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a lift for guests. The location of the hotel was within 15 minutes walk of the water, and within 10 minutes walk of a large shopping mall. There were several nice restaurants within walking distance, including an outstanding steak house just next door. The hotel is managed in partnership with another large hotel across the street, which allowed us to use their gym to work out. The rooms were nicely renovated and beautifully tiled in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The room was air conditioned and the breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets I have had in Europe. My son and I enjoyed it immensely!

Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. This boutique hotel combines modern comfort with a classic atmosphere. The building is very old and beautiful. Breakfast had a good assortment of fresh fruits and pastries. Staff was very attentive and service was excellent. Location is great, close to many attractions and easy access to transport.

Bica FLH Suites is located in the historical centre of Lisbon, within the famed Bica neighbourhood. The building which was an art gallery since the fifties, was refurbished in the beginning of 2017.

The comfortable rooms feature a rainfall shower, free toiletries, hair dryer, air conditioning, desk and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is available and the cosy terrace outside is ideal for warm evenings. Some of the rooms offer a view overlooking the garden. The staff were the highlight of Bica FLH. In addition to their warm welcome and general helpfulness and charm, they gave outstanding recommendations for dinner spots and even made reservations. They allowed us to leave extra baggage in their storage area while we were on our bike ride. The breakfast was nice and additionally, teas, coffee, and snacks are available 24hrs a day. The rooms were comfortable. Some rooms are louder than others due to street noise (mostly late night people) but earplugs are provided.

Anjo Azul is a renovated 18th century property, featuring a modern décor and a charming façade covered with Portuguese tiles. Located in a tranquil street at the heart of historic Lisbon, it is just 300 metres from Camões Square, in Chiado. Rossio is a 5-minute walk, while the lively bars of Bairro Alto are at a short walking distance. Centrally located and yet on a quiet street. The staff led by Miguel are absolutely exceptional. I felt like family from the moment I arrived and I saw this same care and attention given to everyone who arrived.

Great boutique hotel, along a busy street but with no noise in the room. Very comfortable beds!

Situated in the Misericordia district of Lisbon, Casa do Jasmim by Shiadu is at a short distance from attractions such as Bairro Alto and Liberty Avenue. The property is close to popular areas like Chiado and Rossio. Exceptional experience overall. Location is easy reachable by the bus also by the metro lines, with some minutes walking. Charming old building, but everything functional and clean. Great breakfast with some variations from day to day.
