Hamid made us feel home, made us enjoy all the flavours of Chefchaouen through the information that he provided to us. He also helped us with the luggage. Such a kind soul. Aziz and the two Mohameds were so wonderful and attentive to us, we felt just like family and felt so well cared for during our first visit to Morocco. Our bed was huge and comfortable (we got the king room) and the design was impeccable, which is something that is super important to me. We looked at a lot of different properties in the Old Medica and Kasba areas and this one definitely seemed to be the most beautifully designed, all the furniture, decor and building materials were authentic and beautiful (zellige and tadelakt in the bathroom, hand painted Moroccon furniture, beautiful lighting and everthing goes with the "green" theme). Thank you so much to Aziz and his wonderful staff for a special and unforgettable stay.

If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.

If you are looking for a place to relax, quiet, with breathtaking views and extremely kind staff, Iguana is everything you could want to spend extremely happy days in Chefchaouen. Starting with the location, which when you arrive in the vicinity of the Medina you will walk about 5 minutes to reach the accommodation. It is located inside the medina, close to all points of interest, picturesque streets, restaurants, cafes. Speaking of coffee, you will have a transcendental experience when you have breakfast beautifully organized by the iguana staff. In addition to being delicious and filling, the view is stunning, to the mountains. I loved to spend at least two hours of my day there relaxing. There is also, on the floor above, a decorated Rooftop, where you will have a panoramic view of the blue city 🫂 The employees are there to help with everything necessary, such as visiting tips, buying tickets, recommending restaurants and whatever else is necessary. At the homestay, units come with bed linen and towels. Everything was very clean and the decorations were beautiful. Aissam is very kind and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend staying here to anyone that wants to be close to the Medina but in a more relaxing side street. Breakfast was also very nice!
