The plan was to arrive late, explore nearby ruins of Volubilis the next morning, then head to Meknes. We were surprised by a lively village, with a rich religious history. Our host answered all our questions, and more The place was simple, and beautiful. A donkey was offered to help bring the luggage up the mostly-stairs sidewalk to the riad There was a wedding in the center of town during our short stay, it was lively and joyfull. However, windows closed and AC on made the room reasonably quiet. Ask to go explore the rooftop, it's one of the best sights I've had in Morocco.
