From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. We got a welcome drink during check in, could get in our rooms a bit earlier than check in time, and the breakfast was amazing. Every morning it was a joy to go to breakfast and try typical Sri Lankan dishes. The hotel is a bit further (10 min walk) from the restaurants, it’s a walk on a dark street, but gives you the beauty of the seeing the stars. Or you can take a tuk tuk :-) Would come back at any time!

It’s a family that runs this place. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The place is a little off the main road and Saman and his son always helped us with getting around. They also helped us with booking all the tours, taxis and tuktuk drivers. The room was very clean, with A/c. Very nice breakfast with great view to their lovely green garden.

We never expected such warmth, but their care felt like family. We also chose to have dinner from them — it was absolutely finger-licking good! If I ever get the chance to visit Sigiriya again, Dew Ashi will definitely be my choice.

After somewhat difficult arrival because of the night rain and small car we had :-) we were kindly welcomed by our nice host Kumari, with whom we had an really interesting evening conversations during our stay. The room is nice and equipped. The breakfast was very good, freshly prepared, with local specialities. Located in a small settlement inside the jungle, one can really enjoy the nature around - and visit Sigiriya and surroundings.

At the homestay, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Great room in a convenient location in Sigiriya, with very welcoming hosts. Fantastic breakfast each morning. The hosts organised a safari for us which was fantastic. They were very accommodating.

We lived 2 days in paradise. Harsha the host is very kinds and always helpful. His wife cooked Sri Lankan foods are very delicious. We joined her cooking class. They using most of spices and vegetables they own farm and garden. They planted many fruits ( mango , banana, guava, etc..). It’s a shame we have to leave this paradise. Definitely we will come back next year.

As an added convenience, Pidurangala View Treehouse offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. Wonderful location and hosts. These are hard working people that are doing their best to make people feel welcome and comfortable. Both of which I did.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. All rooms come with a patio with views of the mountain. Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Very kind host, it was unusual experience to live in a tree house and we liked it! Delicious breakfast, very quiet and peaceful place, a little far away from the busy main road.
