When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

Welcomed by the staff, smooth check-in and explanation of the facility. Clean and comfortable rooms, kitchen, shower room etc. I actually loved the place very much and would book it for my next trip to Takayama.

A beautiful building, amazing location, extremely kind and friendly hosts, very well-equipped - and the breakfast was so huge and delicious that I can't believe it was only 500 yen. A meal like that would have been at least twice the price in a restaurant! Thank you so much for my wonderful stay here.
