The room is very spacious with TV, wifi, fridge, kettle for tea and coffee. Ask to Mr Suzuki to turn the heater on because it is very cold in winter time. The Minpaku is only 10 minutes on foot from the train station, 3 minutes to Motsuji temple and 20 minutes an foot from Chousun temple. Takkoku no Iwaya is 5 km far away, so you need a bike to reach it.

There is only one shower in the facility, so there is a booking system to reserve your shower slot.

Arrangement of last minute taxis to get us up and off the mountains at either end of Dewa Sanzan was done extremely quickly and well. Food amazing. A truly fantastic and memorable experience. Especially how it was a great chance to meet lots of new people from all over Japan and the world and practice my Japanese with everyone working there. I would highly recommend!
