From a drying rack/laundry clips, to cooking utensils and various sauces and condiments, to additional bedding, we had everything we needed.

The location is great and the close towns around are just a walk away. If you like walking, its your place. The serenity , quietness and peace all around are stunning. We could feel the love put into the house during its remodeling. Admiring the way to stay as close as possible to original materials and way of building it. The living room is great and wants you to stay overlooking the rice patties all day long.

I didn’t expect a house this big and equipped. I was welcomed so caring and friendly and got help with everything I needed plus many more opportunities and offers for day trips and food options. I could even use the sounds system with their vinyls and the piano they have (really good sound!). Also, I cooked for myself in the evening with food I got in a supermarket of the next city. For a daytrip I rented an e-bike and went to the local waterfall (i was alone there!!) and to the sound shower museum, which I can highly recommend. Owner and staff are incredibly friendly and warm hearted.

The traditional japanese style room was small but tidy and comfortable, with a pretty view on the water. The owner is very friendly and prepares tasty meals, both breakfast and dinner are recommended.

A quiet, peaceful island getaway. Fluent English is spoken by the hotel owner and some workers. We were given excellent guidance and maps of the island on arrival, which was VERY useful as the roads are quite narrow at times. We drove, but you can walk to many places. Bicycle (rental available) is also good. Excellent coffee shops can be found with guidance. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel dining room were superb. Japanese style. Coffee also great, and available free all day. Of course, the hospitality is top notch . . . it's Japan. We'll be back.

A train station is near the property (less than a minute) with hourly trains which can take you to Sasebo city or other neighboring towns however, it is about and 40-50 minute ride to Sasebo. Breakfast is simple some shredded cabbage and an egg. The property owner was friendly and helpful, he hangs out at the property and will usually stay the night if no one books the family guest room.

TSUDOI guest house, que está a 47 km de Museo de Historia y Cultura de Nagasaki y a 48 km de Estación de tren de Nagasaki, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño compartido en Unzen. La ubicación, en pleno pueblito justo al lado del Jigoku de Unzen, y desde donde se pueden hacer todas las rutas de senderismo (Nita Pass, pico Kinugasa o la cascada Issaikyo). Hay sitios varios cercanos para comer aunque cierran temprano (temprano para mí, que soy español) excepto para la cena que el Izakaya cierra más tarde. El dueño es muy simpático, habla bien inglés y hace todo lo posible por hacerte sentir a gusto. La sala de estar es muy cómoda y puedes estar sin problemas en las horas establecidas, donde yo tuve la suerte de hacer buenas migas con los otros viajeros que se alojaban allí. Aparte, el precio es muy bueno, teniendo además en cuenta que es el único alojamiento de la zona que no es un hotel, que son muuuucho más caros.
