A wonderful host and home. We stayed in a room that accommodated 4 people in Japanese styled bedrooms. A traditional home, it was a beautiful experience. The hostess was so helpful, accommodating and warm. She helped ensure we had the best stay and got to know the local restaurants and shops. Would stay here again!

Charming location. Beautiful traditional Japanese house. We brought pot noodles as worried there would be nowhere to eat but didn't need to worry as helpful host gave us directions to an izikaya a couple of kilometres away. Good if you have a car but probably not ideal to walk at night as not much pavement or lighting. Wish we had a bit more time to enjoy setting.

El sitio es espectacular, todo muy limpio, habitación cómoda, con vistas a la montaña, abajo tiene mesas por si quieres desayunar o cenar, con vistas al jardín. Tienes café, muy rico. El anfitrión, muy atento, nos reservo para cenar en un restaurante y nos llevó en su coche.. nos hubiésemos quedado más días si hubiésemos podido.

阿蘇び心 Asobi Gokoro se encuentra en Aso, a 32 km de Estadio Egao Kenko de Kumamoto, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Yoshi was super friendly and helpful in giving tips and recommendations on places to eat, visit etc. Upon arrival I was given tea, a handmade map and a little lottery snack. I didn't win but was still gifted a snack bag. Sleeping area is upstairs in the building next door to the caravan and tent pictured. The place felt homey with all the little touches and details. I only stayed one night here but will recommend this place for those who want to experience living in ASO.

We loved our stay in Wakka. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It is well located in the south part of Aso's caldeira and a good spot to explore the area if you have a car. Despite being quite deeply hidden in the nature of Aso, Wakka was quite easy to find. Instructions send ahead to find the route were clear, there was little signs showing the way and the Google Maps location was correct. The room was clean, the bed confortable and with a little terrace to go with it! The hosts were very nice and even offered us a snack for the road after check-out! If you want a very peaceful and authentic experience of Aso, surrounded by trees, i recommend you stay at Wakka!!!

Minshuku Hiroshimaya se encuentra en Kumamoto, a 1,8 km de Residencia Hosokawa Gyobutei, y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis y terraza. This place was beautiful, it felt unreal. The room was beautiful and it felt so traditional. You even have to walk through a shrine to get there it was so magical. The hosts were absolutely lovely and recommended nice places to go out and eat. Would come back to stay here again!!
