馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou está en Nakatsugawa, a 11 min a pie de Toson Memorial Museum, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. This was such a cool experience. The building is very nice. All the beautiful wood and features. Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. Perfect place to stay after. Do not hesitate. Go here. Book!

熱海温泉 実の別荘 está en Atami, a 19 min a pie de Playa de Atami Sun y a 27 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. The people working there are both friendly, helpful and caring, it felt like they had a genuine intrest in their guests. The common areas are clean and cosy with a relaxed vibe, and when I was there the guests interacted with each other so you could get to know new people if you wanted to. The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again

富士山を眺められる宿 ゲストハウス花水木 está en Nishikatsuracho, a 7,7 km de Parque de atracciones Fuji-Q Highland y a 11 km de Lago Kawaguchi. At the end of our Japanese adventure we were weighed down with more luggage than when we arrived, and the owner was kind enough to pick us up at the train station by car. The accommodations were beautiful with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were very cozy, ours even had a large TV. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It tends to be busier when there are more guests, but fortunately everyone respects the curfew. The guests very willingly and voluntarily transported us into town the next day, for which we thank them very much. The accommodation was right next to the konbini so a real win.

Snow Palace Nozawa, que está a 21 km de Ryuoo Ski Park y a 32 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani, ofrece habitaciones en Nozawa Onsen. very clean, staff were all super friendly, we could cook freely in the kitchen and all the equipment was new and in great condition! there is also a free car rides up to the nagasaka gondola everyday on demand!

GOKAYAMA BASE se encuentra en Nanto, a 44 km de Castillo de Kanazawa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. Super friendly host welcomed us with a big smile and patiently explained everything to us. The house is very nice and very clean, including a big kitchen-dining area and a small workspace. Location is ideal to explore the area. Ainokura village is 5 min by car, Shirakawa-go 30min. The little town has a bakery, restaurant and supermarket

B&B legare se encuentra en Gifu y ofrece alojamiento con terraza o balcón, wifi gratis y TV de pantalla plana, además de bicicletas gratis y jardín. La calidez y afecto que uno recibe en este hogar hizo de mi paso por Japón un mejor viaje, recomiendo absolutamente un paso por aquí si estás de visita por Gifu.
