Our room was the last one (Number 11 or 12, can't remember) and being on the corner It has 2 windows with a lot of light. There are 3 huge toilets with showers, very clean and organized. We didn't use the shared living room and kitchen but they seemed tò be very comfortable. You Need tò leave the shoes at the guesthouse entrance (Icelandic habit) so Better have comfy shoes tò put on/off. breakfast was Amazing. Both restaurants and rooms are very very hot (we were here in August) so better dress in layers.

If weather is nice and you are lucky, you may get to see some auroras too like us 😊

Great and quiet location. Comfortable for a group 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 WC with 1 shower. Well equipped kitchen and nice comfortable living room to relax before bed. Since it’s part of the ranch, we got greeted with sheep in the morning!

Absolute waterfront and a beautiful room with quality fittings. The bed was very comfortable. We loved staying here.

If it wasn't, then they do a great job keeping the rooms pristine! The beds and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was big and clean, and the kitchen had enough utensils for anything we needed to prepare. Overall, one of the best stays we had in Iceland.

Very cozy and large house, so we were able to rest a lot after some longer hikes. Ultimately great host, who told us a lot instightful info about the eastern part of Iceland as well as he mentioned a set of hidden gems. It is a must stay if you travel through north-east/east part of the island. It is also a great place in terms of close location to different attractions (Stuðlagil canyon, Hengifoss). Highly recommended!
