The rooms were furnished with A/C, exceptionally nice blankets, private bathrooms, and desks to set up laptops. The main kitchen downstairs has a microwave, something you rarely see in budget hotels and houses in India. That said, I rated the Grace Home facility itself an '8' but service was a very outstanding 10+. The most notable part of my stay was the hospitality shown by Sanjeev, the owner, and especially his female staff (Shanti, Sheila, and Julie). I traveled with several very large and heavy luggages; and I did not ask the girls to take them up several flights of stairs. However, they did so without complaining at all. Also, they made sure I was taken good care of and prepared great meals for me every day. On my last day, Shanti noticed that I was having great difficulty in booking an Uber to Faridabad. For some reason, that day, drivers were canceling on me; so, she stayed with me a while outside, talked to a couple drivers, and finally got one to accept my booking. I really appreciated what she did for me. I am looking forward to staying at Grace Home again in a few months.

The owner was incredibly helpful, giving us lots of useful advice. He even let us choose our room since he had two available and kindly gave us a short tour of South Delhi to show us the area’s cafes and restaurants. The rooms are exceptionally clean – much cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed at. Towels were changed daily, and he also provided us with plenty of filtered water bottles, which was very thoughtful. The owner also helped us with laundry for a very reasonable price (15 rupees per item, though this price might change in the future). We were lucky to be there on New Year’s Eve when he organized a small gathering on the rooftop terrace. It was such a cozy evening – he served us some delicious treats, and we all warmed up around a small fire, sharing stories and enjoying the festive atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend Tatvamasi Homestay for anyone visiting New Delhi. It’s more than just a place to stay – it’s a warm, welcoming home that makes your trip even more memorable.
